 AANA Resources

The quality and reimbursement site will identify issues and programs of importance to nurse anesthesia, by highlighting pertinent quality initiatives, quality reporting programs, payment adjustments based on quality reporting, and quality measures.
 
Professional Practice
The Professional Practice Division handles practice-related issues (e.g., standards of practice, facility accreditation) that affect nurse anesthetists.
 
This initiative is dedicated to developing business of anesthesia and pain management resources and coordinating the work across AANA Divisions.
 
AANA Marketplace
The AANA Marketplace offers unique publications-on-demand for members (login required) and nonmembers. AANA members and nonmembers alike will be able to purchase books, reports, customizable promotional materials, and other publications when needed and in the desired quantities.
 
Research
The Research Department promotes and facilitates the knowledge and utilization of research in anesthesia, and supports professional development. The department is responsible for consulting on research matters, assessing current research being conducted, and targeting research topics based on trends identified in the AANA and AANA Foundation's strategic plans.
 
Health and Wellness
The AANA Wellness Program website offers information and resources to reduce risk factors and improve health and fitness.
 
Peer Assistance
The AANA recognizes that anesthesia providers, because of their exposure and the nature of their work, face a high occupational risk for substance misuse. Assistance for CRNAs and student nurse anesthetists for chemical dependency and substance misuse is available through several avenues. Check it out!
 
Archives-Library
The AANA Archives preserves the history of the AANA, and by extension the history of the nurse anesthesia profession, through items that document the activities of the AANA since its founding in 1931. Documents, publications, photographs, memorabilia, audiovisual items, and anesthesia equipment are included in the Archives' collections. The AANA Library comprises a collection of books and journals on anesthesia and related healthcare topics.
